Fluke 179 Multimeter

The Fluke 179 is a highly accurate handheld multimeter with a 6000 count display. The instrument can measure voltage, current, resistance capacitance and frequency on top of this it has a true RMS function. Furthermore, there is a function for diode and continuity testing. In addition to the other models in the 170 series this one is capable of also measuring temperature. The display is large, easy to read, and the multimeter has a folding stand at the back. Approximately 200 hours can be gotten out of the multimeter’s 9V battery. The Fluke 179 is rated as category CAT IV to 600 V and CAT III to 1000 V.
