This FKM round cord has a 2 mm diameter and a 7 m length. It is ideal for creating large-diameter O-rings when combined with instant adhesive. FKM is a high performance compound and is resistant to many high temperature chemicals.
Pros:
- Good resistance to oils and solvents such as aliphatic, aromatic and halocarbons, acids, animal and vegetable oils
- Suitable for temperatures from -15 to +200°C (5 to 392°F)
- Good mechanical properties, resistant to compression set

- Poor resistance to hot water and steam
- Unsuitable for polar solvents, certain esters and ethers, glycol based brake fluid
