This 2-way ball valve from JP Fluid Control with a nominal diameter of 8 mm is designed for on/off flow control. The valve has G 3/8 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel. With our range of 3/8 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe (recommended pipe diameter ± 8 – 15 mm).
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE/NBR. The valve can be used up to a max pressure of 16 bar (232 psi) and within a temperature range between -10 and 90 °C (14 and 194 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
Cons:
- Not suitable for aggressive media
- Suitable only for manual actuation
