This is a Burkert indirect operating 2/2 way solenoid valve with G 1/2 inch threads and a 24 V AC/DC coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with PCTFE sealing and an orifice size of 12 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for a pressure of 1 – 200 bar (15 – 2901 psi) and a maximum temperature of 80 °C (176 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 2.2 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 37 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 3, which means 3 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The PCTFE (Polychlorotrifluoroethylene) sealing is resistant to almost all media. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Thanks to the ATEX and IECEx certification, this solenoid valve is suited for explosive environments. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.
