This is a Burkert direct operating 3/2 way solenoid valve with G 1/8 inch male/female threads and banjo connection and a 24 V DC coil. The banjo connection with a hollow screw is the ideal solution for directly connecting to a pneumatic actuator. The valve has a PPS housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 1.2 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. When the valve is closed, the output port connects to a third exhaust port. As it is direct operating, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Suitable for a pressure of 0 – 21 bar (305 psi) and a maximum temperature of 120 °C (248 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.037 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 1 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0, which means 0 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The manual override feature can be used to commission the system. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.
