Scotts turf Builder grass seed sun and shade Mix is designed for full sun and dense shade and has medium drought-resistance with medium to high durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For excellent results, apply in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55 and 70 deg for air temperatures are between 60 and 80 deg F. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 in tall.
