The Cat.6, A class EA RJ45 plug is a highly capable device that can be assembled in the field. It is fully shielded and multi-port capable and comes with a variable (360°) cable feed that can be freely selected. The assembly connection is simple and does not require any special tools. The wire connection can range from stranded wire AWG 27/7 to 22/7, with a wire diameter from 0.46 to 0.76 mm. Additionally, the device can accommodate a solid wire connection of AWG 26/1 to 22/1, with a wire diameter from 0.4 to 0.64 mm.
The plug’s transmission characteristics are Cat.6, A per ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06. It complies with class E, A to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06, and DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09. The plug is suitable for use with a range of applications and standards, including 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering (PoE, PoE plus, UPoE, and 4PPoE), and HDBaseT. The plug can accommodate a cable jacket ranging from 5.5 to 10.5 mm. It is housed in a zinc die-cast shell, making it suitable for industrial use. It provides strain relief with a latching clip directly on the stuffer cap. Furthermore, it features a protected locking hook and can be reconnected as needed.
