This union nut (female threads) is designed to be used with a cutting ring or a compression ring fitting. The nut has a M42 x 2 threads, making it suitable for an outer pipe diameter of 30 mm. To install, the union nut should be slid over the pipe first. Then, the pipe can be inserted into the cutting ring or a compression ring fitting before tightening the union nut. This will ensure a leak-free seal. Fitting is made out of stainless steel 316 ti (1.4571). It has an S (heavy) load class, in accordance with the DIN 2353. It is made in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353) and the DIN 3870 standards.
