This is an EXFS 100 isolating spark gap, designed for usage in Ex areas for indirectly connecting or earthing functionally isolated parts of installations under lightning conditions. Safe for installation in Ex zone 1 (gases) or zone 21 (dusts), this ATEX-certified isolating spark gap ensures lightning equipotential bonding as per IEC 62305, featuring a low sparkover voltage. Other specifications include a nominal sparkover voltage of 1.25KV under a 10/350 μs surge, a nominal voltage at mains frequency of 250V, a stainless steel 304 (V2A) flange connection, and an explosion-proof design. Suitable for other connections, it has an IP rating of IP67, guaranteeing dust-tight and water immersion protection.
