The RF pushbutton sensor is a 3-gang device for the KNX System 55 start-up rocker. The sensor transmits KNX telegrams wirelessly when pressed, with its function depending on parameter settings determined during the loading of the application program. These functions may include the transmission of telegrams for switching, dimming by pressing, or blind control. It is also possible to program functions like dimming encoders and scene auxiliary units.
Features:
- The device has a confirmation function as well as transmit and status display via a two-colour LED (red green), each button having a separate 2-stage display function.
- There is an optional status display via separate 1-bit status communication objects.
- The transmit and confirmation display functions can be deactivated.
- You can attach the pushbutton sensor to walls with screws, or affix it to smooth or transparent surfaces using a mounting plate.
- Project planning, start-up, and parameter setting are executed using ETS (version 5 or later).
- The device operates on a battery.
- ‘Switching’ function includes a rocker or button function. The command for pressing and release can be parameterised (ON, OFF, CHANGE, no reaction).
- ‘Dimming’ function involves a rocker function. The command when the rocker is pressed (either the right or left button) can be set in the parameters (lighter – ON, darker – OFF).
- ‘Blind’ function features a rocker function. When the rocker is pressed (right and left button), the command can be set in the parameters (ON, OFF, CHANGE). The time between short and long-term command can also be set in the parameters.
- ‘Value transmitter’ and ‘Scene auxiliary unit’ functions have a rocker function. The command when the rocker is pressed (right and left button) is set in the parameters (values 0 to 255, 0 to 100% or scene number). With the scene auxiliary unit, memory function is possible.
Notes:
- Batteries are consumables and need regular replacement. Please follow regulations for the disposal of used batteries.
- The pushbutton sensor comes with a program-neutral start-up rocker. You need to order the suitable rocker set for the design line separately.
- Using rocker sets and/or cover frames can reduce the range.
