The Gira Standard 55 combination switch/socket, made from thermoplastic material in a cream finish, is an inbuilt component. This combination includes a series switch and a single socket with side earth (type F). The switch and socket combination is to be installed through screw-fastening method and is designed to fit into any standard deep inbuilt box. It operates on a rocker/push button mechanism and carries an IP20 protection degree rating, making it safe from foreign objects above 12.5mm. The component is also halogen-free.
