G1/2″ Stainless steel check valve with parallel thread (BSPP) and FKM seal. The minimum differential pressure across the non-return valve must be higher than 0.03 bar. The valve has a light spring to close the valve. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar and the valve is suitable for temperatures between -20 and 150°C.
This valve can be used with cold water, oils, fuels, neutral gaseous and liquid non-aggressive media and compressed air.
Pros:
- Stainless steel 316 has better chemical resistance than stainless steel 304
- FKM is suitable for oils, fuels, air, water and many chemicals
Cons:
- FKM is not suitable for boiling water or steam. EPDM or PTFE are suitable alternatives in this case
CLIS4E series
The CLIS4E check valves are made of stainless steel 316 and have FKM sealing. They’re available from G 1/4 up to 4 inch. With a PN 16 pressure rating and maximum temperatures of 150° C (302° F), the valves are suitable for harsh media such as steam.
