This is a fixed point ring groove with a diameter of 16mm and a female thread designed for use as an earth-side connection point as per EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) at the earthing system. It has a high mechanical strength due to its non-cutting formed thread. The maximum short-circuit current is 42kA and it has a straight construction variant. With an interior thread connection, it’s designed to connect the earthing and short circuit ring groove of 16mm. It supports a maximum copper wire cross-section of 150mm².
