The KNX recessed ceiling-mounted presence detector comes with a 360° field of detection and a range of up to 24 meters in diameter. The recommended installation height is 3 meters, making it suitable for high-comfort applications. This product is intended for use in the KNX (EIB), TP (twisted pair) bus system, along with other KNX components.
The parameter and function settings are designed to be managed via the ETS (Engineering Tool Software). Due to its switching function, it is ideal for areas with ceilings of up to 10 meters, such as sports halls and warehouses.
The presence detector allows manual, temporary switching/dimming via user remote control. It has a range of communication objects, including light value output (2 byte) and status report. Moreover, it can be used as a ‘master’ or ‘slave’, and offers KNX button control for light channels.
The device operates in fully automatic or semi-automatic modes. It also features a test mode, a correction factor for interior lighting, and sensitivity sensor for areas 1 to 4. The presence detector comes as a standard flush-mounted device.
Options for surface mounting or recessed ceiling mounting are available with accessories. The device also features an easily replaceable or paintable cover and design ring, which is available in silver as an accessory. Lastly, it offers targeted masking out of areas by means of an enclosed lens mask.
