The KNX recessed ceiling-mounted presence detector comes with a 360° field of detection. It has a range of up to 24 m in diameter at a recommended installation height of 3 m, making it suitable for high-comfort applications. This device can be used in conjunction with other KNX components in the KNX (EIB), TP (twisted pair) bus system. The parameters and function settings can be adjusted via ETS (Engineering Tool Software).
Its switching function makes it an ideal choice for areas with ceilings of up to 10 m, such as sports halls and warehouses. It allows for manual, temporary switching or dimming via user remote control.
The device boasts a host of communication objects, including:
- Constant light control or switching
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
- Block object for HVAC
- Light value output (2 byte)
- Status report
- Presence output (HVAC)
It can function as either a ‘master’ or ‘slave’.
Additionally, it includes a KNX button control for light channels, fully automatic or semi-automatic, and two selectable light values for orientation light 10% to 50%. It also features a test mode, correction factor for interior lighting, and alarm output.
The device comes as a flush-mounted standard and includes a sensitivity sensor for areas 1 to 4. Surface mounting or recessed ceiling mounting is possible with accessories. The cover and design ring are easily replaceable and paintable. The design ring is available in silver as an accessory. Areas can be masked out selectively using an enclosed lens mask.
