The Dehn DEHNrapid surge protection device is designed for data and M&R applications. It’s of the dataline LSA protection type, with a 1 LSA-Plus connection. It has an impedance of 0.005Ohm, a maximum residual voltage of 0.5kV, and a nominal discharge current (8/20) of 10kA. A change in color indicates its status. This device functions as a lightning current carrying plug-in SPD block (10 pairs) suitable for most applications, and can be upgraded to a combined lightning and surge arrester using a DRL protective plug. The integrated disconnection block contacts permit testing, measuring, and patching with the protection plugged in. For added safety, the three-pole gas discharge tubes come with a visual fault indicator.
