This is a Dehn connection element for earthing and short-circuit provisions, able to withstand maximum short-circuit current of 19.5kA. It’s suitable for wire cross-sections of 16 – 70mm² and a clamp range of 4 – 30mm, and is designed for overhead power cable connections. This unit features an anti-rotation protection, and assembly of the operating rod spindle is done with a transverse pin. Its primary application is phase-sided. This standard phase screw clamp is equipped with a long threaded T pin shaft for connecting the phase cables of earthing and short-circuiting devices to the overhead line according to EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) standards, featuring a PK1 anti-rotation element.
