The Dehn KS connector for lightning protection is a clamping screw connector that complies with EN 62561-1. Its primary function is to enable a lightning current carrying connection of round conductors, such as flat profiles, downpipe clamps or other parts of a lightning protection system. This one-piece type copper connector comes equipped with a hexagonal screw, a spring washer, and a M10 nut. Featuring a red cast iron construction, it accommodates a round conductor diameter of 6 – 10mm. It does not possess surface protection and is untreated. Its lightning current carrying capacity stands at 10/350 µs 100kA.
