This is an ATEX-certified Ex isolating spark gap designed for the safe installation in Ex zone 2 (gases) and for indirectly connecting or earthing functionally isolated installation parts under lightning conditions. It functions for lightning equipotential bonding according to IEC 62305 in hazardous areas (zone 2) with a flexible conductor connection. Its protection spark gap for lightning protection offers a surge of 50kA (10/350) and a nominal triggering surge voltage of 2.5kV. The nominal network frequency sustaining voltage is 300V. It has a stainless steel 304 (V2A) flange connection and an IP54 protection degree, suitable for various connections. This item’s version has been tested for explosions.
