The Dehn interrupting clamp for lightning protection is made of die-cast zinc. The clamp is designed to accommodate a round conductor with a diameter of 7-10mm, a flat conductor with a diameter of 16mm, and a second round conductor of 16mm diameter. It comes without surface protection and is untreated. This device has a closed design and complies with EN 62561-1. It’s intended for the connection of down conductors with earth entries, specially designed for earth entry rods with a diameter of 16mm.
