This is a Belimo 2-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the port size is Rp 1/2 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 1 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 1.16 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator features three-point (open-close) control. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 90 seconds. The actuator has an IP42 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NC) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.
Manual override is possible using a lever, which disengages the gearing as long as the self-resetting lever is pressed. The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator simultaneously moves the valve to the operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power source is cut off, the valve reverts to the fail-safe position driven by the spring force.
