This 2-way drinking water approved ball valve from JP Fluid Control with a nominal diameter of 40 mm is designed for on/off flow control. The valve has G 1 1/2 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel. With our range of 1 1/2 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe (recommended pipe diameter ± 40 – 60 mm).
The housing of the valve is made of brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE/NBR. This valve is designed for use in drinking water applications and has an anti legionella design. An extra hole in the ball connects the entrapped space around the ball. This significantly reduces the risk of the growth of bacteria due to stagnant water. The valve is also suitable for various media, such as water, oil or air. The valve can be used up to a max pressure of 25 bar (362.5 psi) and within a temperature range between -10 and 90 °C (14 and 194 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.

100-4MS series
Our 2-way drinking water approved brass ball valve selection ranges from G 3/8 inch to G 2 inch. The valves are made of brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE/NBR. Their operating pressure is up to 25 bar (362.5 psi). The 100-4MS series is designed for drinking water applications. The valve design prevents the stagnation of water in the hollow spaces around the ball. As a result, the risk of growth of bacteria such as Legionella is greatly reduced. Moreover, the construction reduces the risk of frost damage during winter. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 90 °C (14 to 194 °F). The valves are handle operated. The ball valves in the 100-4MS series of JP Fluid Control are characterized by a long life.
